You have to be more specific to answer your question. What do you consider "good money"? There can be a huge difference in what different nationals call "good money". You also should provide details about your education/degree and experience. In Gulf countries you will get paid regarding your nationality, degree, experience and the company itself. What kind of salary package you'll be able to negotiate depends on the position you'll have. In case you are a New Zealand national you will not get hired as a blue collar worker. From Westeners it's expected to be professionals which demand can't be fulfilled by Emaratis. Btw: Dubai and Abu Dhabi are located in the UAE:)
