Should we sell convicted felons to Saudi Arabia as slaves?

Should we sell convicted felons to Saudi Arabia as slaves?
The 13th. amendment is very short and easily understood, see below; 13th. Amendment to the U.S. Constitution -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. -------------------------------------------------------------- I think the states could make a little money by selling off prisoners instead of feeding and housing them. According to Bush, the Saudis are nice people, let's sell our prisoners to them, including the so-called "white-collar" criminals.

We should sell Donald Rumsfeld and Cheney on Ebay. The buyer can do whatever they want to them.
2 :
I say it should be the sexual offenders, the basta*ds that spoiled so many innocent lives!
3 :
Now, that my man, is a great deterrent. We need great deterrents because we allow too many murders to sit on death row forever. That is no deterrent. The Saudis, that should deter people.
4 :
I say, quit wasting time on this drivel and take action!
5 :
Yes careful what you wish for. America is a super police state that slaps people in prison like were are cooking bread. We have more people in prison than all nations combined and we are still one of the most crime filled countries in the world. Prison does not deter nor does the death penalty or slave labor. Look at China and see it for yourself. Maybe we should all be hoping your kids or you wind up in the hands of our incredibly broken justice system. Then you can be thankful that no one was listening to you.
6 :
i say death penalty to prisoners with major offenses such as murder/rape/ etc

Where can I make the most money as a teacher?

Where can I make the most money as a teacher?
Where in the world can I go (and am qualified to go as a certified US teacher) where I can make the most money? Bear in mind I am a woman, so I want to avoid places like Saudi Arabia. Please don't assume that my main motivation as a teacher is to make money. It obviously isn't or else I wouldn't have gone into this profession and I would not stay in it. One of my major priorities right now though is not having my bank account be negative at the end of every pay period. I would like to teach somewhere where I can actually afford to live and pay off my student loans and debts. It really annoys me how people get so preachy on this site with such limited information.

If you don't mind, you could always try China. To put it in simple terms, take what a doctor makes here, multiply the number by about 3 then divided by 5 or 7. That's how much you should make a year as high school teacher. But you have to learn chinese if you already don't know it. I hope this helped.
2 :
If your sole motivation in qualifying as a teacher was to make as much money as possible, you`re in the wrong profession.

I don't know what your loans/debts are exactly and I can only speak to the area that I live in but I can tell you that in Ontario, Canada a teacher will start at anywhere from $42,000 to $45,000 or so depending on your education and skills going into teaching. That number will go up every year for 10 or 12 years, depending on the school board that you work for, and will eventually reach as high as around $75,000 or so. The cost of living in Toronto varies quite a bit, but you could get yourself a small apartment or a basement for under a thousand a month, a transit pass is around $100 a month. So, for around $12,000 you've got yourself a modest home and transportation around the city. Double that for food and other expenses and you're saving up $18,000 in your first year toward your student and other debt. Not the most ideal situation for a young professional to be living in a small apartment and using public transit but hey, I'm staying at home 'till my student debt is paid off so it aint that bad. I would imagine that salaries/cost of living would be similar across the major Canadian cities. The thing here though is that there are a ton of qualified teachers and not too many jobs. Toronto is a shrinking school board (while those around Toronto are growing, living in the suburbs is a lot more expensive than living in the city if you're just looking for a small place) and you would need to get a Canadian education degree to be able to teach up here... so this whole post actually seems like a big waste and not very practical for you... sorry :(

Stop Kafeel system in Saudi Arabia...?

Stop Kafeel system in Saudi Arabia...?
In Saudi Arabia lot's of nationalities working in different companies, and in different professions, like company employees, have shop, working in hospital as nurse, house maid, driver, labor, and lot's of other professions. But Saudi Kafeel making problems for their employees every time, big problem salaries not paid at right time, asking money to renew work permit, if someone have vacation after his contract again he have to pay money to his Kafeel (employer) so they can Proceed his passport for re-entry visa. My suggestion Saudi govt. have to do something and take all this in his hand so fernier can feel relax during work and save from their crime, specially house maid, they are not paying salary on right time and after all using for their abuse, and bring people on one contract and after that when we are here they show an other contract then what we have to do, no Choice they said you have to sign on this new contract and start work otherwise go back, but who want to go back when someone spent a lot's of money to come over here. Most of Filipino and Indonesian having problems. what you have advice friends? Prince

conservative outrage on this one. Aren't you guys upset at all that the same people who sent our troops to war are out making money to give to the people who are killing them? http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503543_162-20024653-503543.html

This is old news; no conservative outrage 15 years ago, none now.
2 :
We've known about the Bush ties to the Middle East for years.
3 :
We've known that since the 1980s.
4 :
As a matter of fact, yes we are. So where are all the stories about Cindy Sheehan and her protesting? Why did her name virtually get removed from all media once Obama became President?
5 :
That's weird--the article didn't mention the Bush family. Grasping at straws again are we?
6 :
I think you need to read the story agian.. Where does it say that Bush Business partners are funding terrorist.. It just says that some individual in the saudi government fund terrorism.. We all already knew that. Its nothing new. Does say Bush is dealing with those People.
7 :
Oy Vay Johnny boy!
8 :
My outrage is that you have so mischaracterized the article you linked! People in Saudi Arabia financially support terror with big money from lots of people. There is NO link to anyone Bush or his family have had connections with. In fact Bush isn't even mentioned in the article. You, as is so typical of angry people on here, are inventing connections that simply do not exist.
9 :
Hmmm and since Obama and Hillary are apparently aware of this, why hasn't he done anything? Why did Obama recently sell arms to the Saudis? eh??? I'm "outraged".
10 :
oil money sticks together, and truth does not money make, and bin laden is jesus of truth, and bush and the saudi's are one
11 :
All it says are " Saudi sources". Where the hell does it mention "Bush family's business partners"? ****ing conspiracy theorists.
12 :
The Bush connection to Osama Bin Ladden came out with "Faranhiet 911". But as long as it serves the corrupt and evil GOP, they will do nothing about it. They "made a deal with the devil" and as long as they gain from it, nothing will get done about it. Does it matter that we had Bin Ladden in a navy hospital a week after 9/11? Not to the GOP or their allies in the White House. Does it matter that Bush was friends with him all the way through 9/11? To we the people, it matters, but the only thing that matters to the GOP and friends is that they will try to keep secret any wrongdoing on their part and make up what they can to redirect accusations away from them and toward innocents and opponents; as long as it suits their profit margins and the profit margins of their corporate millionaire backers.

politicians are slimy. The only ones you can trust are the teapartiers. They're not working for big business, they are working for you
