Why do my children want to go to Ireland for college?

Why do my children want to go to Ireland for college?
My eldest sons want to go to Ireland and go to college. I have set up a business in Saudi Arabia for them so they can make real money. No, they disrespect me and lie. They don't need an education, they need to work for me. I am going to punish them by making them stay in Saudi Arabia and wash my dishes if they don't work for me.

Okay, great plan! I approve.

It is their life they can do whatever they want. Get over yourself.

What Saudi Arabia needs is for a Baathist movement to rise up in the military and restore liberty to that country

Are you for real?

Hey do what you have to do (I.......Guess?)

No offense but you sound a little crazy... you have to let your children find their own roots! Let them make mistakes and learn along the way. Lots of the most famous people in history wanted to shake loose from their past and do something for themselves and the future! Let your children fly! Let them be who they want! They are old enough now!

Boy, that is being a real tyrant. I wouldn't wash your "dishes," wash them "yourself." Let them do the REAL hard work for you which is to spend your MONEY......., THEN when you run out of it, all of you can get jobs as "dishwashers.........."

The beer is better in Ireland, that's why. And they don't beat up the women in Ireland like they do in Saudi Arabia.

They just want the easy Irish girls.

why USA is selling the weapons to Saudi Arabia retail price while it'll be used for "our" interest?

why USA is selling the weapons to Saudi Arabia retail price while it'll be used for "our" interest?
they may even sell it to them above retail price.what would we, the regular citizens gain from all the money they make. why we go to war for the rich man's war and pay for it too and not get any share of the blood money? at least to pay for their own war! no one who knows better pays retail price for a car, do they? also the question is ie; if i go to target and buy something but target use it for their own interest, one is stupid to pay for it specially retail, garbish! WHY YOU DON'T READ THE QUESTION CAREFULLY BEFORE RESPONDING? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS? MAY BE IGNORANT? NOT IN USA?

I'm sure no one on yahoo answers knows the real story of why. There are plenty of back room deals that you don't know about.

A bigger, better, longer war!

It goes to show just how "soft" we are on terror. The majority of the terrorists on 9-11 were from Saudi Arabia. They should never be sold weapons until they publicly cleaned up their country. Yet, we have never asked them to do so. Why is that????
4 :
Retail Price? Gee, can I go down the street to Target and buy at retail, too?

Saudi Arabia is the lynchpin of global economics. As oil reserves in non middle eastern countries dwindle, Saudi Arabia, with its vast underground seas of oil, becomes more and more important. Like it or not, everything takes a backseat to ensuring that Saudi Arabia maintains a U.S. friendly government. If that means kissing their butt and selling them weapons then so be it. Without alternative fuels, there is no alternative.

Want to drive to New Zealand and possibly Australia from Saudi Arabia, any tips?

Want to drive to New Zealand and possibly Australia from Saudi Arabia, any tips?
Greetings, I will attempt to make trip on-land from Saudi Arabia to New Zealand and if possible to Australia. Not right away but maybe after 18 months or two years max. I googled a bit and found little information online about people who traveled a long distance such as this will be. They mostly complain about paperwork on borders and visa and insurance which can be a bit costly. As mentioned I will have this within a max of 2 years. But I need some advice, What car do you think can withstand such a long trip with minimum need for maintenance? I currently own a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer, she needs a bit of work but I'm not sure if she can make it even after I repair everything that need repair right now. Also how to handle money, I know that carrying a lot of cash is considered a bad idea even without traveling, so how to handle money while traveling a very long distance across many countries, hoping no bandits will come up and take away all my possessions, credit cards might be useful but can't rely on them 100%. The above are my biggest concerns right now.. Would love to hear a few tips from you, even tips about things I really should be concerned about that I haven't mentioned above Nick there are ferries between mainland asia and the islands, and there are some from Indonesia to NZ or Australia so I will not be needing a floating car.

Does your car float?

And greetings in return, you have written a lot, so I think you might be serious. Well I don't think its a good idea that you bring your car. Why ? Simple You said it needs some repairs. That's going to cost you money, and I think its not worth it. You are better off to either HIRE a 4x4 or suitable car here in Australia. OR By a car or 4x4. You can then sell it for what you paid, or make a loss. The loss you make will be less than transport cost to ship vehicle from Saudi Arabia to Australia and then to NZ. I you here a vehicle you don't have to worry about breakdowns and repair costs. About money. Just use you VISA card. No need to come with rolls of paper bills (cash). Cheers from DOWNUNDER .

Getting your car across the ocean to Australia and NZ is not your only problem... You also need to worry about getting across the Himalaya Mountains! You may have to take a northerly route through China. How are you going to read some of the road signs written in a language that does not use our alphabet? Global tracking MAY get you from hither to yon, but what about the other necessary information vital to your trip: (road closed ahead, next gas station 200 km, etc?) I would definately suggest that you bring your own drinking water... Little microbial beasties in the local water can/will make you ill!

My dad wants my family to move to Saudi Arabia?

My dad wants my family to move to Saudi Arabia?
I'm a sophomore in high school and I've already had to change schools once and start all over. My family lives in Colorado, but my dad recently told us that we may be moving to Saudi Arabia because of his job, and I'd have to start the whole process of changing schools, friends, and lifestyle all over again. My brother is dead-set on not wanting to go, but my sister and parents are all for it. While I want my dad to be successful and make twice as much money, I still don't really want to make the switch. Is this selfish? I don't want it to be, but I need to pick a side. What do you think?

That would be a little unsettling for me too....moving from the U.S. to a whole other continent....not to mention the middle east area where all that conflict and stuff is going on right now.....Does your Dad have to do this? Can he not still stay in Colorado and be able to support you guys financially?
2 :
stay with your brother if thats an option, you will be taken care of and can carry on as normal with your life, you can always visit your parents often.
3 :
I think that dad should have a family meeting and explain why this is necessary and explain the benefits and allow you and the others to point out the down side
4 :
i wouldnt go

I don't know how old your brother is. If he is 18 or older your Dad could set you up in an apartment and allow you to stay behind. Does your sister understand that she will not be able to drive or go out of the house without a male relative? Life there was her will not be pleasant. I would be wary of the "Arab Revoultion" - the wave of protests that are overthrowing governments in the Middle East. The Saudi government is on the short list. There will be people trying to overthrow it in the next few months. The guy in charge is in his 80s. The one who is suppose to take over after his death is more conservative and is not well liked. It is going to involved a clash of the Sunni and Shite Muslims, and if you remember Iraq a few years ago it was a bloodbath. I don't know the company your Dad works for, but how are they going to get your family out when the revolution breaks out. Questions to ask your Dad.
