You probably have hundreds of CIA agents in Korea and Iran. You claim you want to bring democracy to the places that need them. But what do you do to change the situation in Myanmar. If it doesn’t concern your selfish capitalistic needs you do nothing. Saudi Arabia. Woman have almost no rights their but you are good friends with them. Why because of oil. You have great power. And like spider-man use to say: With great power comes great responsibility What do you do to help Myanmar? What do you do to make the world a better place? WELL DONE MATE!! Myanmar??????????? They have nothing that Mr Bush and Mr Cheney want, they will not help them. US Government today are crooks. They are not even think for their own people who were hit by Katrina for example. Bush, Cheney, Rice all the same. They all nutts, they all are evils. We probably could intervene militarily...if we weren't so overstretched in Iraq and Afghanistan. If Bush hadn't sent us into Iraq to look for weapons that were not there, and terrorists that were not there (until we invaded it), then maybe we could send in troops. But then, we'd have to worry about China getting into it, because China would never stand for having us on their doorstep...read your history, remember the Korean war? Yes, we were winning until China intervened. Not to mention the fact, that the rest of the world would be upset with us for going to war, instead of giving sanctions a chance to work or solving things with a political solution...like Iraq. So, before you bash the US for not helping Myanmar remember those things and realize that: - Even Spiderman can't be everywhere at once. - We HAVE sanctions against Myanmar, so ask the rest of the world what THEY are doing to help Myanmar. - We HAVE always tried to make the world a better place: ...helped the allies defeat Germany in WWI, ...helped liberate Europe and most of Asia in WWII, ...helped rebuild Europe after WWII, ...helped defend Korea from communism, ...TRIED to help defend Vietnam from communism, ...helped liberate Kuwait, ...defeated the Taliban government in Afghanistan, ...TRIED to bring Democracy to Iraq, ...not to mention food and economic aid every time there is a natural disaster somewhere. Sometimes when we help others it works, sometimes it doesn't. But we do try to help others. Your problem is that you only focus on the negative...Iraq, Vietnam, Oil. Do your history, you will find that Americans HAVE helped the world. If WWII had ended with Axis powers winning, you might be speaking Japanese, German, or be dead.

America is so hated around the world yet if something happens they expect us to sacrifice our young people, money and time to bail them out. After we do they will shower us with ingratitude. Its not just America that has imposed sanctions. The EU imposed sanctions apart from humanitarian aid. The only large western company that is currently working out of Burma is Total. What a surprise when oil comes into play all thoughts of human rights are out the window.

Why doesnt Britain ask the Saudis and Arabs for money to help them in the recession?
Why doesnt Britain ask the Saudis and Arabs for money to help them in the recession?
I understand that Britain is undergoing a recession and day in day out the Goverment is talking about cut backs left right and centre. The only people on the planet with the real money is them filthy rich oil Arab barons. The chancellor said something like a 20 bilion deficit. Why doesnt he just go to Saudi Arabia and ask their goverment to give this money to him free? I mean 20 billion is like 20£ to these Arabs they can make that money back in one week. Why doesnt he in "exchange" promise to help the Saudis build a nuclear device (but just pretend) and help them build up their Army and Airforce (NOT)? As soon as the Arabs hand over the money, just "help" them slowly and slowly and give them the illusion that they all the planes they get are really advanced and give them a little box and tell them never to open it because thats the Atom bomb. Would this work? Could the Arabs be duped like this? Also tell them that the Saudis and all the rich sheikhs and the many 1000's of Princes can come to London anytime and fulfill their pleasures they need? For instance tell them that they can do "Anything" i mean "Anything" they want in London? If they want to drink our finest wines, live in the finest hotel, take any car they see. I mean tell them they can have any women they want on England. I mean they just love that blonde, blue eyed look. I mean they would pay a blond women or even a mans weight in gold just to have one. Every damn time you see them in casinos and bars they have a whole host of blonde blue eyed young Russians with them! So why doesnt the British goverment do that? Could it work?
