Should we sell convicted felons to Saudi Arabia as slaves?
The 13th. amendment is very short and easily understood, see below; 13th. Amendment to the U.S. Constitution -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. -------------------------------------------------------------- I think the states could make a little money by selling off prisoners instead of feeding and housing them. According to Bush, the Saudis are nice people, let's sell our prisoners to them, including the so-called "white-collar" criminals.

Now, that my man, is a great deterrent. We need great deterrents because we allow too many murders to sit on death row forever. That is no deterrent. The Saudis, that should deter people.

Yes careful what you wish for. America is a super police state that slaps people in prison like were are cooking bread. We have more people in prison than all nations combined and we are still one of the most crime filled countries in the world. Prison does not deter nor does the death penalty or slave labor. Look at China and see it for yourself. Maybe we should all be hoping your kids or you wind up in the hands of our incredibly broken justice system. Then you can be thankful that no one was listening to you.
