Will someone make me a good spring outfit on either polyvore or just provide links?

Will someone make me a good spring outfit on either polyvore or just provide links?
I'm soo bored with my wardrobe and I want to buy some new clothes for spring since I've been saving my money. Will someone make me an outfit? I like stores like Hollister Abercrombie AE aeropostale etc. They don't HAVE TO BE THE BRAND NAMES but styles similar to those stores. And nothing that will make me go completely broke I'm guessing I have about 40 dollars. Also, nothing slutty, i'm also completely flat-chested and really short and skinny. SOMETHING APPROPRIATE FOR SCHOOL no tank tops, flip flops or short skirts. thank youuu. i also like pacsun and delias. pacsun stuff would be good since i have a 40%off coupon. but i'm not the surfer type, i'm preppy.

Did i make the right choice concerning this job?

Did i make the right choice concerning this job?
i had a part time job, it was fast food. i like that it was flexible enough to have with my other job, and i liked making the extra money.however, they only gave me a couple of days a week, even tho i told them i could and wanted to work more. they hired someone else after me and gave them lots of hours, sometimes they would say they overshceduled and tell me not to come in which i didnt like since they would call last minute and it was too late to pick up a shift at my other job. .i wasnt being trained on what they told me they would train me on. and the environment was hostile. all the bosses would belittle the employees, and if the employees had a problem they would just watch them fight not even bother to calm things down. plus they would talk about coworkers badly to each other and other employees right there right in front of the person. which is rude and makes people uncomfortable. i treid to let it roll off my back, until one day i came in 7 minutes late, and my boss claimed he put me on a no call no show. i have never no call no showed and of course i was standing right in front of him, so even if he was mad that i was late he didnt have to still say no call no show. to me that is like saying i dont want you here, so i left after that, and called the district manager to say i didnt want it to be put down as a no call no show since i was there. he claimed it was just words, but i took that seriously because thats not a rational thing to do, it is petty and i dont know where its really coming from. the previous week i had worked one day and it was hard to make it through the shift i had thought about quitting, because of the completely ridculous and rude and mean behaior of the employees toward another employee. i decide to giv it another try and not quit so easily. anyway the distrcit manager asked if i wanted to still work there since they put time into training me. i said i wasnt sure and he said he would talk to my boss. then he called me to tell me that me the district manager and my boss should all have a meeting. i feel that is too much for a fast food job that was only giving me a few days a week, and i didnt feel it would be productive, i felt it would be a way to pass blame. plus now that i have gone over my bosses head it will not be a better situation for me. my bosses ae not professional, and they surely would not be happy with me for calling their boss on them. prior to the incident,i was planning to have sit down with my boss directly to talk about getting more hours or training, but we did ot get to that point. i told the district manager i did not wantt to work there anymore. i did want to work there but not under those circumstances, what do you think? did i leave too easily, or was it not worth the time to go through all of that?

you probably did the right thing....for some reason your boss there did not like you...hence the lower hours and hassle. You should be honest with yourself and analyze why it was so...(and he is a jerk is not the answer). Use this as life experience. In future though you should leave on decent terms even though you were jerked around because you need them as a reference...I'd phone the district manager and ask if you can use him as a reference when you go after another job...he may say yes...then thank him. on a final note...if you are applying for another job and they want references...it is good to phone him and jog his memory saying that this new job sounds great and you appreciated what you learned while working for him...this will make sure he will member you if they call.

Does anyone still have interest in traditional film photos?

Does anyone still have interest in traditional film photos?
It's been a hobby of mine for a while now to shoot black-and-white 35mm on a totally old-school Canon AE-1 SLR camera. I really enjoy the sort of manual feel to everything and it makes me feel like I have more control over what I'm shooting and how I want it to look. I know that digital cameras already have controllable variables like f-stops and shutter speeds and such, but I just like working with manual cameras. Recently I bumped into a few critics at my university who asked to see some of my prints and seemed to really like them. So my question is, do people still care about black-and-white shots? And if they do, is there a way for me to make a little money on the side by doing what I love? How?

Actually in the art field there are very few digital prints that draw much interest. All the prints you see hanging in galleries are photographic prints and all have been processed archivally and are mounted following archival methodology. There should be an annual judged art show open to the teaching staff, staff and students. That is one way to get some recognition and have the opportunity to sell your work

Absolutely! Film still rules. Some photo galleries still show black-and-white print collections. If a print is well done, people will pay for it, no matter if it was digital or "silver." Just think of the work of Mary Ellen Mark, Ansel Adams, Weston and so many others who have done their best work (or all their work) in black and white. I take some digital shots but I still take more (and better) shots with my film camera. Since I have been shooting for a long time, I have a number of very good lenses and camera bodies. To replace what I have with digital will cost a small fortune. So keep working on your portfolio and your printing skills. Obviously you are on the right track. What matters is the result, not the technology.
